Citroën Electric Vehicles

Citroën has two fully electric zero emissions vehicles currently available in the UK, the C-Zero car and the Berlingo electric van.  These are shortly to be joined by Citroën’s first plug-in hybrid vehicle: the C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid.

    The Citroën C-Zero provides an all-electric, zero-emission solution for city driving

    The Citroën C-Zero was launched in 2010, and is an all-electric city car.  It was developed with Mitsubishi Motors, and includes features which make it easy to drive around town: a compact size, rapid charging, and a useful range for shorter day-to-day trips in the city.

    The fully electric motor in the C-Zero delivers a maximum power rating of 46 kW, and the battery can be recharged to 80% in 30 minutes using a 50kW rapid charger.

    The Citroën Berlingo Electric van is an all-electric solution for achieving zero emissions for city delivery and professional applications.

    It is available in two versions: the L1 with a max load length of 1,800mm and the longer-body L2, with a max load length of 2,050mm.

    Citroën expect first deliveries of the new C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid to start in the middle of 2020

    Citroën launched its new plug-in hybrid in November 2019.  The first deliveries of the C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid are expected in mid 2020.  The Aircross SUV Hybrid has an electric-only range of 31 miles, enabling zero emissions local city journeys, whilst the 180hp petrol engine provides a more practical proposition for longer trips.
