What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect personal data such as your name and email address when you complete one of our “contact us” forms. This data is collected so that we can respond to requests for services, and to stay in touch with our customers.
The data we collect includes:

- Email address
- Phone number
- Postal address
- Your IP address
How we use your data
When you complete a contact form on our website, this is usually because you may be interested in some of our services. We therefore use the information you supply us to respond directly to your enquiry. We will provide you with updates and newsletters about our services, based on your communication preferences. You update your communication preferences or opt out of communications using the link included in the emails we send out.
We also gather anonymous data on how our website is being used, so that we can make improvements to the site and also ensure the security of the site.
Sharing your data
We simply don’t share or sell your data outside of Earth Electrical. We sometimes use third-party hosted tools to manage your data, but we ensure that this data is held securely and not available for use by any other organisation.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
